Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Jet Ways, we strive to clarify all aspects of your travel experience. All flight bookings, including cheap plane tickets, discount airline tickets, and last minute flights, are governed by the rules and policies of the respective operating carriers. Please review the detailed parameters below before processing a change or requesting a refund.

1. The 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation Rule

In accordance with United States Department of Transportation (DOT) mandates, passengers booking flights online or via telephone at least 7 days prior to the departure date may cancel their airline booking within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, free of agency penalty fees.

• This rule applies to all airline tickets booked directly through the Jet Ways portal or via phone.
• Certain promotional fares, instant-purchase tickets, and last minute flights departing within 7 days of the booking time may be exempt from the 24-hour risk-free rule.

2. Standard Refund Policies by Ticket Type

After the initial 24-hour period has elapsed, the cancellation rules set by the operating airline will determine the refundability of your flight ticket booking:

• Non-Refundable Tickets: The majority of cheap flights, cheap flight tickets, and discount airline tickets are strictly non-refundable. If you cancel, the airline will not return funds to your payment card. However, the airline may issue a Future Flight Credit (minus carrier change fees) which can be used to book flights online at a later date.
• Refundable Tickets: Premium cabin bookings and flexible economy tickets allow cancellations up to the departure time for a full refund back to the original credit card. Agency transaction fees may apply.
• No-Shows: If you fail to check-in or board your flight without notifying the airline or Jet Ways beforehand, your ticket will be labeled as a "no-show". In these cases, the entire ticket value is forfeited, and future travel credits cannot be issued.

3. Airline Schedule Modifications and Cancellations

If an airline cancels your flight or makes a major schedule change (typically defined as a delay of 4 or more hours), you are entitled to a full cash refund on both refundable and non-refundable tickets. Jet Ways will work directly with the carrier GDS systems to process these requests for you. Please dial 313-873-8765 to initiate a schedule change dispute.

4. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To cancel an existing airline booking, please follow these steps:

1. Locate your e-ticket confirmation number or airline locator code.
2. Call our customer support desk at 313-873-8765. For security reasons and to avoid processing delays, we require phone verification to confirm cancellation requests.
3. Our travel specialists will calculate the applicable refund value, verify airline penalties, and process any eligible travel credits immediately.

Refunds approved by the airline generally appear on your credit card statement within 7 to 14 business days, depending on your bank's billing cycles.
